“Cuban connection” is a tribute to Cuba - the place where I was born. It is a tribute to my native culture.
Each composition is a small story told with language of afro-cuban rhythmic tradition and contemporary Jazz.
“Guarachando” is a Cuban slang that means to have a good time, to have fun and in some way this song represents the spirit of the album.
Wherever you go you always take with you something from that place and this album it is my attempt to share with you the musical and the existential experiences I’ve been through.
